Summary

Markdown Viewer Pro does not collect any data. It has no account, no analytics, no advertising, no crash reporting and no third-party SDKs. Your files and what is in them never leave your computer.

What the app reads and changes

Only the folders you add yourself. Inside them it reads .md and .markdown files and the local images they show. It skips .git, node_modules and other hidden or build folders.

It changes a file only when you tell it to: when you edit and save a file, create a new one, rename one (and, if you choose, update the links other files have to it), or move one to the Trash. It never deletes a file outright and never replaces a file that already exists. Everything stays inside the folders you added.

What stays on your computer

This is stored in the app's own data folder on your computer, never inside your folders. Removing a folder from the list forgets it (the folder itself is not touched); uninstalling the app and deleting its data folder removes everything.

Network

Markdown Viewer Pro makes no network connections on its own. Web links inside your files, and the links in the app's Help and About pages (to oneclicktool.app), open in your own web browser only when you click them. Images on the web referenced by your files are not downloaded.

Purchases

Markdown Viewer Pro is bought once on the Mac App Store. Apple handles the payment; we receive no payment details. There are no in-app purchases and no subscription.

Children

Markdown Viewer Pro is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
