Common questions

Which files does it show?
Every .md and .markdown file in the folders you add. Hidden folders, .git and node_modules are skipped.

How many folders can I add?
As many as you like. Removing a folder from the list never touches the folder itself.

What do the orange dots mean?
No other file links to that file — handy for spotting forgotten notes.

How do I edit a file?
Open it and click Edit (or press ⌘E). Changes save by themselves as you type; ⌘S saves at once. If another app changes the same file while you edit, Markdown Viewer Pro asks which version to keep instead of overwriting it.

How do I create, rename or remove a file?
New file: the + page button in the toolbar (⌘N). Rename and Move to Trash: the buttons at the bottom of an open file. Renaming offers to update the links other files have to it. Trashed files can be put back from the Trash.

I bought it — how do I install it on my other Mac?
Open the App Store on that Mac, signed in with the same Apple Account, and download it from your purchases.
