Common questions

Which files does it show?
Every .md and .markdown file in the folders you add. Hidden folders, .git and node_modules are skipped.

How many folders can I add?
Up to 10. Remove one from the list to add another; removing never touches the folder itself.

What do the orange dots mean?
No other file links to that file — handy for spotting forgotten notes.

Does it change my files?
No. Markdown Viewer is read-only. Use "Open in default app" to edit a file in your usual editor; the view updates by itself when the file changes.

macOS says it cannot check the app for malicious software.
This early version is not yet signed. Right-click the app, choose Open, then Open again. You only need to do this once.

Windows shows "Windows protected your PC".
This early version is not yet signed. Click More info, then Run anyway.
