Frequently asked questions

Promo Desk shows no products. Click Add repo folder and choose the folder that holds your project, or one parent folder with all your repos. Promo Desk looks for listing files up to 3 levels deep. No files yet? Turn on Show the sample product in Settings → General.

A field is missing or in the wrong place. Each field is a ## Field name heading in your listing file. Check the spelling of the heading, then press ⌘R to rescan.

Will Promo Desk change my files? No. It only reads them. The one exception is Mark as posted, which updates the status: line of that post file.

Moving to a new Mac? Settings → Backup → Export… on the old Mac, then Import… on the new one. If a repo folder lives somewhere else, Promo Desk asks you to point to it.

The Claude panel says Claude Code is not found. Install Claude Code and sign in once in Terminal, then reopen Promo Desk. The panel is optional — every checklist works without it.

Refunds? Purchases on the Mac App Store are handled by Apple. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
