Summary

Redliner does not collect any data. It has no account, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party SDKs. The documents you compare, their names and their contents never leave your Mac.

Your documents

Redliner only opens the files you choose yourself (by dragging them in or with the Open dialog). It reads them to compare their text and never changes, moves or deletes them. Scanned pages are read with Apple's on-device text recognition (the Vision framework) — no image is sent anywhere. A report is written only when you choose Export and pick where to save it.

What stays on your Mac

This setting is stored only inside Redliner's own container on your Mac. Deleting the app deletes it.

Purchases

Redliner Pro is a one-time in-app purchase processed by Apple through the Mac App Store. We never see your payment details. Redliner only asks Apple whether Pro is unlocked on this Mac.

Network

Redliner itself has no permission to use the network. Purchase checks are handled by macOS and the Mac App Store.

Children

Redliner is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
