Start with Downloads and Desktop, the two folders Sweepy suggests, or pick your own.

Will it delete something I need?
Sweepy never deletes a file outright. Everything goes to the macOS Trash, and History can undo a whole cleanup: 7 days on Free, 30 days on Pro. Old and large files are never pre-selected, so nothing goes unless you tick it.
Does it need Full Disk Access?
No. You choose the folders, and Sweepy reads only those. Like every Mac App Store app it runs in Apple's App Sandbox.
How does it know which copy is the original?
Duplicates are matched byte for byte, not by name. Sweepy keeps the copy with the plain name that was downloaded first and marks the others. You can tick or untick any copy before cleaning.
