AI Reply for X — Privacy Policy

AI Reply for X helps you write replies and posts on X in English. It has no servers of its own, no account with us, and no analytics, tracking or advertising code. It never posts, likes, follows or replies for you: it only fills the reply box, and you press Post.
1. What We Store
Everything the extension keeps is in your own browser. None of it is sent to us.

2. What Happens When You Press AI
Only when you press the AI button (or Regenerate, or Clone my voice), the extension sends one request to the AI service with: the text and author of the post you are replying to, the idea you typed, your voice settings and the chosen style. For Clone my voice it sends the text of your own recent posts that are shown on your profile page. It does not read your messages, your timeline in the background, or any other website.
Reply Radar works inside the page you are viewing: it reads the author and time of posts already on screen to show a badge. That information is not sent anywhere.
3. Third-Party Services
Google Gemini API. Drafts are written by Gemini through generativelanguage.googleapis.com, using the API key you created. The request is handled by Google under the Gemini API terms. On Gemini's free tier, Google may use what you send to improve its products, so only send what you are happy to post publicly.
xAI API (optional). Only if you add your own xAI key, and only when Gemini fails, the same request goes to api.x.ai under xAI's privacy policy.
Lemon Squeezy (Pro only). When you activate a Pro license, and about once a week while it is active, the extension sends your license key and an activation ID to api.lemonsqueezy.com to confirm it is valid. Nothing else is sent. Purchases happen on Lemon Squeezy's checkout page under Lemon Squeezy's privacy policy; the extension never sees your payment details.
Ask Grok. This button only opens Grok on x.com in a new tab with your question filled in. You press Send yourself; the extension does not read the answer.
4. Permissions
storage— saves the settings listed above.- Access to x.com and twitter.com — adds the AI button and panel next to Reply, reads the post you reply to when you press AI, inserts the draft you pick, hides the feed in Focus mode and shows Reply Radar badges. It runs on no other site.
- Access to the Gemini, xAI and Lemon Squeezy APIs — the requests described in section 3.
5. Data Retention and Deletion
All data lives in your browser. Uninstalling the extension removes it. You can clear your keys and settings in the extension's Settings page at any time, and "Deactivate" in the Pro tab removes your license key from the browser. We do not hold any copy, so there is nothing for us to delete.
6. Children's Privacy
The extension is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.
7. Changes to This Policy
If a future version changes what the extension stores or sends, this page will be updated with a new date before that version ships.
